Job Description
An experienced Crane Operator Stage 3 is required for an offshore assignment in Nigeria onboard a Work Pontoon / Barge.
The successful candidate must have previous experience working as a Crane Operator Stage 3 and proven experience on offshore-type vessels. Candidates must hold valid and relevant certificates and documentation required for the position.
The contract is scheduled from 28 September to 30 November 2026.
Key Responsibilities
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Operate the offshore crane safely and efficiently in accordance with approved procedures.
- Perform lifting and handling operations onboard the work pontoon/barge.
- Conduct pre-use inspections and ensure crane equipment is maintained in safe operating condition.
- Coordinate lifting operations with deck crew and relevant personnel.
- Follow all offshore safety, lifting, and company procedures.
- Report equipment defects, incidents, or unsafe conditions promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience as Crane Operator Stage 3.
- Previous experience working on offshore-type vessels.
- Valid Crane Operator Stage 3 certification.
- Valid and relevant offshore certificates and documentation.
- Valid medical fitness certificate.
- Proficiency in English communication.
- Ability to work safely and effectively in an offshore environment.
