Job Description:
DOF APAC is currently expanding its offshore team and seeking qualified IR / Crane Operators – Stage 3 to support offshore subsea operations across its Australian fleet. These positions are offered on a casual basis with a rotational schedule of 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off, including temporary roster coverage as required.

Successful candidates will operate advanced offshore cranes onboard world-class subsea vessels, supporting heavy lifting and offshore subsea activities in compliance with company procedures and international offshore safety standards. This role requires strong operational awareness, teamwork, and commitment to safe and efficient offshore operations.


Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Operate offshore cranes safely and efficiently during subsea operations
• Perform heavy lifting activities onboard subsea support vessels
• Ensure compliance with offshore safety and operational procedures
• Maintain effective communication with vessel crew and offshore personnel
• Support safe deck operations and cargo handling activities
• Follow all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements onboard


Requirements:
• Valid II/5–III/5 Integrated Rating Certification
• Minimum 2 years of current experience in subsea offshore operations
• Valid Sparrows Stage 3 Crane Operator certification
• Experience onboard 400-tonnage subsea vessels preferred
• Current MISC, BOSIET, AMSA Medical, or equivalent certifications
• Completed STCW Basic Safety Training
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexible and adaptable approach to offshore operational demands

• Ability to mobilize on short notice for offshore roster coverage
