Job Description:
A leading offshore operator is seeking an experienced Mobile Crane Operator to join a Barge operating in Nigeria. The successful candidate will join the vessel on 10 August 2026 for a 6-week rotation and must have proven experience operating MTECK Mobile Cranes in offshore environments.
Open Position:
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate the MTECK mobile crane during cargo handling and lifting operations.
- Perform pre-operational inspections and routine maintenance checks on crane equipment.
- Execute lifting operations in accordance with lifting plans and company safety procedures.
- Coordinate with the deck crew and lifting supervisors to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Maintain compliance with offshore HSE standards and international lifting regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mobile Crane Operator on offshore barges or similar vessels.
- Experience operating MTECK Mobile Cranes is mandatory.
- Valid Crane Operator Certificate.
- Valid STCW certificates.
- Valid Seafarer's Medical Certificate.
- Seaman's Book and Passport.
- Good English communication skills.
