Job Description:
iPS Powerful People is building a talent pool of experienced Offshore Crane Operators for upcoming international offshore projects. The Offshore Crane Operator will be responsible for carrying out safe and efficient lifting operations onboard offshore vessels and platforms. The role involves close cooperation with deck crews, riggers, project teams, supervisors, and bridge personnel to ensure all lifting activities are performed in accordance with approved procedures, lifting plans, and offshore safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Operate offshore cranes to safely lift, transfer, and position cargo, equipment, and materials.
Conduct pre-lift inspections and ensure crane equipment is safe and operational.
Follow approved lifting plans and coordinate lifting activities with deck crews, riggers, and supervisors.
Monitor weather, sea conditions, and operational hazards before and during lifting operations.
Maintain crane logbooks, checklists, and other required documentation.
Participate in toolbox talks, risk assessments, and offshore safety procedures.
Requirements:
Proven offshore experience as a Crane Operator
Valid Stage 3 Crane Operator Certificate
Valid Offshore Medical
Valid BOSIET/FOET with CA-EBS
Strong knowledge of lifting plans and offshore lifting procedures
Good understanding of crane safety systems and offshore lifting standards
Ability to work safely in demanding offshore environments
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work effectively within multicultural offshore teams
