Job Description:
Cyan Renewables is seeking an experienced Stage 3 Crane Operator with IR COP to join the MMA Pinnacle, one of the company's MPSVs operating in the Australian offshore fleet.
The successful candidate will join on 27 August 2026 and must have proven experience in subsea crane operations, ideally including recent experience with AHC (Active Heave Compensation) systems and MacGregor cranes.
Crew mobilisation will take place in Broome, with crew changes conducted via helicopter. Applicants must have valid Australian working rights and should not apply if they do not meet this requirement.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Safely operate the vessel's crane for subsea and offshore lifting operations.
Conduct crane operations in accordance with company procedures and applicable safety standards.
Operate and monitor AHC systems during subsea lifting activities.
Carry out crane inspections and ensure equipment is maintained in safe working condition.
Coordinate lifting operations with the vessel crew and offshore project team.
Requirements:
Valid Stage 3 Crane Operator certification.
Valid IR COP (Intermediate Rigger Certificate of Proficiency).
Proven experience in subsea crane operations.
Recent experience with AHC crane systems is highly desirable.
Experience with MacGregor cranes is highly desirable.
Valid maritime certificates and relevant offshore documentation.
Valid medical fitness certificate.
Australian Working Rights – mandatory.
Updated CV and relevant certificates required.
