Crane Operator for Jack-Up Barge (UK)

Job Description:
A well-respected offshore company is seeking an experienced Crane Operator to join their Jack-Up vessel fleet operating in UK waters.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a heavy-lift lattice boom crane with a capacity above 500 tonnes, supporting offshore lifting operations, equipment handling, and marine construction activities.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional offshore team. Candidates must hold valid offshore certifications, have proven heavy crane operating experience, and possess the right to work in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Operate lattice boom crane systems safely and efficiently during offshore lifting operations.
Carry out crane inspections and ensure equipment is ready for operations.
Execute heavy lifting activities according to approved lifting plans and procedures.
Coordinate with riggers, deck crew, and lifting supervisors during crane operations.
Maintain crane operation records and comply with offshore HSE standards.

Requirements:
Valid offshore certificates and training records
Valid Medical Fitness Certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Valid UK Frontier Worker Permit (FWP) required
Full GWO certification
Chester Step Test certificate
Sparrows Level 3 Crane Operator certification (or equivalent)
Proven experience operating lattice boom cranes above 500 tonnes
Previous offshore crane operation experience on Jack-Up vessels preferred
