Job Description:
Sheffield Energies is recruiting an experienced Crane Operator for a short-term offshore assignment onboard a Jack-Up Heavy Maintenance & Construction Vessel in Rotterdam, Netherlands. The successful candidate will be responsible for safe offshore lifting operations while supporting heavy maintenance and construction activities. European and Malaysian candidates are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Operate offshore cranes during maintenance and construction operations.
Conduct pre-use inspections and routine crane safety checks.
Coordinate lifting activities with deck crew and project personnel.
Ensure compliance with lifting plans and offshore HSE procedures.
Maintain operational records and report equipment defects.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
European or Malaysian nationality
Previous offshore crane operating experience
Valid UK Work Permit
GWO Working at Heights
GWO Manual Handling
Chester Step Test
HUET including CA-EBS
Valid Passport and Seaman's Book
