Job Description:
Faststream is seeking an experienced Crane Operator to join a Jack-Up Vessel operating in UK waters. The successful candidate will support offshore lifting operations, cargo handling, and marine construction activities while ensuring safe and efficient crane operations.
The position requires proven experience operating a telescopic crawler crane and the ability to work in a demanding offshore environment. Candidates must hold valid offshore certifications and have the legal right to work in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Operate telescopic crawler crane equipment safely and efficiently during offshore operations.
Perform pre-use inspections and ensure crane readiness before operations.
Execute lifting activities according to approved lifting plans and offshore procedures.
Coordinate with riggers, deck crew, and lifting supervisors during crane operations.
Maintain crane logs and comply with company HSE standards.
Requirements:
Valid offshore certifications
Valid Medical Fitness Certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Valid UK Work Permit required
Stage 2 Crane Operator certification
GWO certification
Proven experience operating telescopic crawler cranes
Previous offshore crane operation experience on Jack-Up vessels preferred
