Job Description:
A leading offshore recruitment company is seeking an experienced Crane Operator to join a Jack-Up Vessel operating in UK Waters. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe operation of offshore lifting equipment while ensuring compliance with project procedures and HSE standards. The assignment is scheduled from 24 August 2026 to 2 October 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Operate offshore cranes safely and efficiently during lifting operations.
- Conduct pre-use inspections and routine maintenance checks on lifting equipment.
- Ensure compliance with lifting plans, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with deck crews during cargo handling operations.
- Participate in safety meetings and emergency response drills.
Requirements:
- Valid STCW certificates
- Valid Medical Fitness Certificate
- Proficiency in English communication
- UK Frontier Worker Permit (FWP)
- BOSIET + CA-EBS
- GWO Sea Survival (SS)
- GWO Working at Heights (WAH)
- Chester Step Medical
- Previous experience as Crane Operator on offshore vessels or jack-up units
