Job Description:
Select Offshore is currently looking for an experienced Heavy Lift Crane Operator with a valid UK FWP to join an offshore project. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of heavy-lift crane equipment during offshore lifting operations.
Candidates with 500t+ crane operating experience are highly desirable and should be available to mobilize ASAP.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Safely operating heavy-lift crane equipment during offshore operations.
- Carrying out lifting and lowering operations in accordance with approved procedures.
- Working closely with the deck crew, banksmen, and lifting teams.
- Conducting pre-use crane and equipment checks.
- Following all offshore safety, lifting, and operational procedures.
Requirements:
- Crane Operator Stage 3 (Crane Op 3).
- 500t+ crane operating experience – desirable.
- Valid BOSIET with CA-EBS.
- Valid GWO certification.
- Valid STCW Basic Safety Training (BST).
- Valid STCW DSD.
- Valid Offshore Medical.
- Valid UK FWP.
- Previous offshore heavy-lift experience.
- Ability to mobilize ASAP.
