Crane Operator for DSV DP

Job Description

Seamec Limited is recruiting an experienced Crane Operator for its DP II Diving Support Vessel fleet operating in Indian waters. The successful candidate will be responsible for safe and efficient crane and lifting operations in support of offshore and diving activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating the vessel's crane safely and efficiently.
• Conducting lifting and cargo-handling operations.
• Performing pre-use inspections and reporting equipment issues.
• Coordinating lifting activities with deck and offshore teams.
• Following approved lifting plans and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Relevant Crane Operator certification.
• Minimum 180 days of sailing experience on DP II / DSV vessels.
• Offshore operations experience preferred.
• Relevant lifting and crane-operation qualifications.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
