Job Description

WRS – Worldwide Recruitment Solutions is recruiting an experienced Crane Operator to join a DP2 Construction Vessel operating in the UK.

The successful candidate must have proven offshore experience operating 250-tonne-plus cranes and hold the required crane, deck and offshore safety qualifications. UK working rights are mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate offshore cranes with lifting capacities of 250 tonnes or more.
• Carry out lifting and cargo-handling operations in accordance with approved lifting plans.
• Perform pre-use inspections and monitor crane condition.
• Support offshore construction and deck operations.
• Work closely with deck and project teams during lifting activities.
• Follow lifting procedures, risk assessments and permit-to-work requirements.
• Maintain safe working conditions and report equipment defects.
• Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings and emergency drills.
• Comply with company HSE and offshore safety procedures.

Requirements

• Valid UK working rights – mandatory.
• Proven experience operating 250T+ offshore cranes – mandatory.
• Stage 3 Crane Operator Certificate – mandatory.
• AB CoC – mandatory.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid DSD certification.
• Valid passport.
• Valid Seaman's Book.
• Valid STCW Medical Certificate.
• GWO Sea Survival (GWO SS) – mandatory.
• Previous construction vessel / offshore experience.
• Good command of English.
• Strong lifting, safety and teamwork skills.
• Availability to join on 21 October 2026.
