Crane Operator for CLV

Job Description:
We are currently recruiting an experienced Stage 3 Crane Operator for a Cable Laying Vessel (CLV) operating from Rotterdam, Netherlands. This is a long-term offshore opportunity with a 1-year contract, offering the chance to work on complex heavy-lift and subsea cable installation projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating offshore cranes during heavy lifting operations, including routine and non-routine lifts, while ensuring compliance with all safety procedures and operational standards. Previous experience working on offshore construction vessels and handling oversized loads is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Operate Stage 3 offshore cranes safely during cable laying and construction operations.
Execute heavy and oversized lifting operations in accordance with lifting plans.
Perform non-routine lifts while maintaining strict safety standards.
Conduct pre-operation equipment inspections and report any defects.
Coordinate with deck crew, lifting supervisors, and bridge personnel during crane operations.

Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates.
Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
Proficiency in English communication.
Proven experience as a Stage 3 Crane Operator.
Extensive offshore heavy-lift crane operations experience.
Experience lifting heavy and oversized cargo.
Experience performing non-routine lifting operations.
Ability to safely operate cranes on a moving offshore vessel.
Previous experience on offshore construction or cable laying vessels is preferred.
