Job Description:
Ocean Achiever Marine Services (OAMS) is seeking an experienced Crane Operator (COP) to join an AHTS / Diving Vessel. The position involves offshore crane operations onboard diving vessels, with responsibility for safely handling lifting operations in a demanding marine environment.
The role follows a 4 months on / 30 days off (unpaid) rotation.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Safely operate the vessel's offshore crane during lifting and cargo-handling operations.
Conduct pre-use checks and ensure crane equipment is maintained in safe working condition.
Perform lifting operations in accordance with approved procedures and offshore safety requirements.
Coordinate with deck crew and other personnel during crane operations.
Report equipment defects, incidents, and unsafe conditions promptly.
Requirements:
Valid Offshore Crane Operator Stage 3 Certificate.
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Crane Operator.
Previous experience working on Diving Vessels is mandatory.
Valid offshore medical and relevant safety certificates.
Good English communication skills.
Strong knowledge of offshore lifting and HSE procedures.
