Crane Operator for AHTS Vessel

Job Description

Jesseena Marine Services Pvt. Ltd. is urgently seeking an experienced Crane Operator to join an offshore vessel.

Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience working on offshore vessels, particularly AHTS and similar vessel types. The successful applicant must hold an Indian COP II/5 and a valid Crane Operator Certificate, together with valid STCW certification.

The position is offered on a 6-month contract. Candidates must be 55 years old or below and have relevant offshore crane operating experience.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Safely operate the vessel's crane during offshore lifting and cargo-handling operations.
• Conduct routine crane checks and report any defects or operational issues.
• Perform lifting operations in accordance with approved procedures and lifting plans.
• Coordinate crane activities with deck crew, riggers, and offshore personnel.
• Maintain compliance with vessel safety, lifting, and HSE procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' offshore vessel experience
• Experience on AHTS and similar offshore vessels – Required
• Indian COP II/5 – Required
• Valid Crane Operator Certificate – Required
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Maximum age: 55 years
• Proficiency in English communication
• Valid passport and relevant seafarer documentation
