Crane Operator for AHTS Vessel

Job Description

Jesseena Marine Services Pvt. Ltd. is hiring an experienced Crane Operator to join an Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) Vessel.

Candidates must hold a valid OPITO Crane Operator Certificate. Previous AHTS experience is preferred. Salary and contract terms will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and contract duration.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Operate the vessel’s crane safely and efficiently during offshore operations.
• Perform lifting, cargo-handling, and deck support activities.
• Conduct routine crane inspections and report any defects or operational issues.
• Coordinate lifting operations with the deck crew, riggers, and vessel officers.
• Follow company lifting procedures and all applicable offshore HSE requirements.

Requirements

• Valid OPITO Crane Operator Certificate – Mandatory
• Previous AHTS experience – Preferred
• Relevant crane operating experience
• Valid STCW certificates, as applicable
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Valid passport and seaman’s book
• Ability to work safely in an offshore environment
