Job Description:
We are currently recruiting an Assistant Crane Operator (ACO) for a short-term offshore assignment based in Invergordon, UK. The successful candidate will support safe and efficient lifting operations onboard, assisting the Crane Operator with cargo handling, equipment movements, and deck operations.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced offshore personnel available to mobilize immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist the Crane Operator during cargo lifting and transfer operations.
Prepare lifting equipment and ensure all gear is inspected before use.
Support safe loading, unloading, and movement of cargo on deck.
Maintain cranes and lifting equipment in clean and operational condition.
Follow lifting procedures, safety regulations, and company policies.
Participate in deck operations and emergency drills as required.
Requirements:
Previous offshore experience as an Assistant Crane Operator (ACO) or similar position.
Must be based in the United Kingdom.
Ability to travel to Invergordon at short notice.
Valid STCW certificates.
Valid Offshore Medical Certificate.
Good English communication skills.
Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
