Job Description
We are recruiting an experienced AB / Crane Operator to join a Norwegian-flagged SCOV DP2 vessel operating in the North Sea.
The successful candidate will work in a combined deck and crane-operation capacity and must have solid offshore experience on MPSV, OCV or DSV vessels. Due to the vessel's flag-specific requirements, only candidates meeting the nationality and residency criteria will be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform deck duties as an Able Seaman in accordance with onboard procedures.
- Operate the vessel's offshore crane safely and efficiently.
- Carry out lifting operations in compliance with approved lifting plans and safety procedures.
- Assist with cargo handling and offshore deck operations.
- Perform routine deck maintenance and inspections.
- Participate in mooring and other vessel operations as required.
- Report defects, unsafe conditions and equipment abnormalities.
- Comply with company SMS, HSE and permit-to-work procedures.
- Participate in emergency drills and maintain safe working practices onboard.
Requirements
- Valid EU passport OR Ukrainian nationality with a valid EU residence permit – mandatory.
- First Class Seaman License – mandatory.
- Valid Crane Operator Certificate, one of the following:
- Sparrows Stage 3
- EnerMech Stage 3
- G5
- AIS Survivex
- Minimum 18 months of actual onboard experience on MPSV / OCV / DSV vessels in the rank of AB / Crane Operator.
- Valid COC / relevant endorsement and applicable STCW certificates.
- Valid medical certificate.
- Valid Seaman's Book.
- Good command of English.
- Relevant offshore vessel experience.
- Availability to join on 16 September 2026.
Employment Details
Wage: EUR 320 per day
