Job Description:
WRS – Worldwide Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking an experienced AB / Crane Operator to join a DP2 Construction Vessel in Aberdeen. The position is available ASAP and is offered on a 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off rotation.
The successful candidate will work as part of the deck crew, supporting vessel operations and carrying out crane operations safely and efficiently. Previous offshore or construction vessel experience is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Perform Able Seaman duties as required onboard the construction vessel.
Safely operate the offshore crane in accordance with company procedures.
Assist with lifting, cargo handling and deck operations.
Participate in routine deck maintenance and general vessel operations.
Follow all onboard safety, environmental and operational procedures.
Requirements:
Valid Stage 3 Crane Operator Certificate
Valid STCW certificates
Valid Medical Certificate
Valid Seaman’s Book
Valid Passport
Previous experience as an AB / Crane Operator
Good knowledge of offshore and vessel safety procedures
UK working rights are mandatory
Good English communication skills
