Job Description:
Select Offshore is currently recruiting an experienced HSE Officer for an upcoming offshore project onboard a PLV (Pipelay Vessel).
The position is suitable for an experienced HSE professional with a strong offshore background and a proven understanding of health, safety, and environmental requirements in marine and offshore operations.
Project Start: ASAP
Rotation: 5 weeks on / 5 weeks off
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Monitor and maintain compliance with offshore HSE policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
Conduct safety inspections, audits, toolbox talks, and risk assessments.
Support the vessel crew and project team in identifying and controlling workplace hazards.
Investigate and report incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure safe working practices throughout offshore operations.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an HSE Officer in offshore operations.
Strong previous offshore experience.
Relevant HSE qualifications and certificates.
Valid offshore and marine certificates as applicable.
Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
Good knowledge of offshore HSE standards and safety procedures.
Excellent English communication skills.
Strong communication, leadership, and reporting skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multicultural offshore team.
