Vessel Type: Jack Up Barge DP2 (Self-Propelled)
Position: Chief Officer / Chief Mate DPO

Job Description:

Chief Officer / DPO required for Self-Propelled Jack Up Barge DP2 operating in UAE. Contract duration is 6 weeks, joining ASAP. Candidate must hold a valid Chief Officer’s License.
Minimum obligatory experience — 36 months as Chief Mate DPO on offshore vessels, including at least 12 months on DP Self-Propelled Jack Up Barges.
ADNOC-approved candidates are preferable.
Candidates must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, may include but are not limited to:
 • Supervising deck operations and jacking activities
 • Managing bridge watch and DP operations
 • Ensuring compliance with ADNOC and international safety standards
 • Coordination with Master, engineering team, and offshore project crew
 • Maintaining vessel documentation, permits, checklists
 • Overseeing safety procedures, drills, and deck crew performance
 • Assisting in vessel positioning and navigational planning

Requirements:

• Chief Officer’s License
 • Minimum 36 months experience as Chief Mate DPO on offshore vessels
 • Minimum 12 months on DP Self-Propelled Jack Up Barges
 • ADNOC approval (preferable)
 • All valid STCW certificates (valid at least 12 months)
 • Fully vaccinated against Covid-19
 • Valid Passport & Seaman’s Book

Wages:

500–550 USD per day (depending on experience)
