Location: South Africa / Mozambique
WRS – Worldwide Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Chief Officer to join a DP2 AHTS vessel for an offshore project commencing at the end of January.
The initial deployment will be in South Africa, followed by operations in Mozambique waters.
The vessel will be engaged in anchor handling and offshore support activities. This role requires a Chief Officer with solid experience on AHTS vessels over 3000 GRT, capable of supporting complex offshore operations while maintaining high safety and operational standards.

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assisting the Master in navigation, vessel operations, and anchor handling activities
• Supervising deck operations, towing, and offshore support tasks
• Managing deck crew and ensuring safe working practices onboard
• Maintaining compliance with DP2 operational procedures
• Ensuring adherence to company safety management systems and offshore regulations

• Valid STCW certificates appropriate to the rank
• Valid Certificate of Competency (COC)
• Valid Seafarer Medical Certificate
• Valid Passport and Seaman’s Book
• Minimum experience on AHTS vessels over 3000 GRT (mandatory)
• Proficiency in English communication
• Previous offshore DP2 AHTS experience
