Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Chief Officer to join a Research/Survey Vessel for a short-term assignment in Latvia. The contract is expected to commence between 23–25 July and will last approximately 7 days. The successful candidate will support the safe navigation and daily deck operations of the vessel while assisting with survey and research activities in accordance with company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Assisting the Master with the safe navigation and operation of the vessel.
- Supervising deck crew and coordinating daily deck activities.
- Overseeing cargo, safety, and maintenance operations.
- Ensuring compliance with STCW regulations and company safety procedures.
- Supporting survey and research operations as required.

Requirements:
- Valid STCW certificates
- Valid Medical Fitness Certificate
- Certificate of Competency (Chief Officer CoC)
- Previous experience as a Chief Officer
- Experience on Research/Survey Vessels is preferred
- Candidates must be located in Lithuania or Latvia
- Proficiency in English communication
