Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Chief Officer to join a Cable Lay Vessel operating on a project in European waters. The assignment is scheduled to commence on 12th June and will run for approximately 6 weeks. The successful candidate will support offshore cable installation operations while ensuring safe vessel navigation and compliance with company procedures and international maritime regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assisting the Master in the safe operation and navigation of the vessel
• Supervising deck operations related to cable laying activities
• Managing deck crew and coordinating daily work assignments
• Ensuring compliance with safety management systems and permit-to-work procedures
• Maintaining cargo, deck equipment, and operational records

Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Valid GWO Sea Survival (GWO SS) certificate
• Valid BOSIET certificate
• Valid FWP certificate
• Previous experience as Chief Officer on offshore or cable lay vessels is preferred
