Job Description:
We are currently recruiting a Chief Officer to join an ASD Tug operating in West Africa. The role involves supporting the Master in vessel command, overseeing deck operations, and ensuring safe execution of towing and offshore support activities. The position is scheduled to start at the end of February and offers a 6-week rotation, ideally suited for candidates with ASD tug experience in offshore environments.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assist the Master in navigation, maneuvering, and vessel operations
• Supervise deck crew and towing operations
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, ISM, and company standards
• Coordinate emergency preparedness, drills, and FRB operations

Requirements:
• Valid Chief Officer Certificate of Competency (CoC)
• Proven ASD Tug experience
• Previous West Africa experience (preferred)
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• BOSIET with CA-EBS
• FRB certificate
• Valid Seaman’s Book and travel documents
• Proficiency in English communication
