Job Description:
Aavishka is urgently hiring an experienced Chief Officer for AHTS (Anchor Handling Tug Supply) / OSV (Offshore Support Vessel) non-DP vessels operating in KSA. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Master in the safe and efficient operation of the vessel, with a focus on deck, cargo, and offshore operations.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assisting the Master with the safe operation and management of the vessel
• Supervising deck operations, cargo handling, and anchor-handling activities
• Ensuring compliance with HSE procedures and maritime regulations
• Managing and supervising deck crew and offshore operations
• Maintaining deck equipment, documentation, and operational readiness
Requirements:
• Valid COC STCW Code II/2 – Master Unlimited or CO Unlimited, issued by home country or UK
• Minimum 24 months’ experience as Chief Officer on similar offshore vessels
• Experience on AHTS / OSV non-DP vessels
• All relevant certificates must be valid for at least 12 months
• Proficiency in English communication
• Availability to join ASAP
