Chief Officer for AHTS Non-DP Vessel

Job Description

SSM Maritime Services Inc. is inviting applications from qualified and experienced Chief Officers to join an AHTS Non-DP vessel supporting offshore marine operations.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist the Master in the safe navigation and overall operation of the vessel.
• Supervise anchor-handling, towing, and offshore support operations.
• Manage deck maintenance and supervise deck officers and ratings.
• Ensure compliance with onboard safety procedures and emergency preparedness requirements.
• Maintain deck documentation and ensure safe working practices during offshore operations.

Requirements

• Valid Chief Officer’s Certificate of Competency (CoC).
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate.
• Relevant experience on AHTS or other offshore support vessels.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Valid seafarer’s documents and applicable offshore certificates.
