Chief Officer & 2nd Officer for Tug Boat (Nigeria)

Location: Malta – Nigeria

Job Description:
Nord Crewing is urgently recruiting an experienced Chief Officer or Second Officer for a tugboat delivery voyage from Malta to Nigeria. Candidates should have previous experience on tugboats, workboats or offshore vessels.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Navigation and watchkeeping duties
• Supervision of deck operations, mooring and anchoring
• Maintaining deck equipment and ensuring safe deck operations
• Supporting the Master in vessel operations and emergency procedures
• Compliance with HSE procedures and maritime regulations

Requirements:

• Previous experience on tugboats, workboats or offshore vessels
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid CoC appropriate to the position
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Valid passport and seaman’s book
• Good English communication skills
• Availability for urgent mobilisation
