Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced 1st Officer to join a pipelay vessel operating offshore in Norway. The position is planned to start on 20th May for a 2-week contract.
The successful candidate must have extensive pipelay vessel experience and be fully certified for offshore operations. This is a short-term assignment requiring immediate readiness and proven competence in pipelay support operations.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Supporting navigation and bridge operations under Master’s command
Assisting with pipelay operations and offshore construction activities
Ensuring safe execution of vessel operations in compliance with procedures
Maintaining proper watchkeeping duties
Supporting safety management and emergency response procedures
Requirements:
Valid COC (Certificate of Competency)
Valid STCW certificates
BOSIET certificate
Valid offshore medical certificate
Passport
Seaman’s book
Extensive experience on pipelay vessels
