Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Deck Cadet to join an LCT Cargo Vessel and begin a professional maritime career. The cadet will receive onboard training while assisting deck officers with navigation, cargo operations, safety procedures, and vessel maintenance in accordance with the company's training program.
Key Responsibilities
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist deck officers during navigation and cargo operations.
Participate in deck maintenance and housekeeping activities.
Learn vessel safety procedures and emergency response.
Support mooring and anchoring operations under supervision.
Complete onboard training assignments and maintain training records.
Requirements
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Maritime education or enrollment in an approved nautical training program
Willingness to learn and develop practical shipboard skills
Valid passport and seaman's book (where applicable)
