Job Description

Faststream is currently seeking an experienced AB / Crane Operator for an immediate assignment onboard an MPSV operating in UK waters.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting deck operations, conducting lifting activities, operating offshore cranes, assisting cargo handling operations, and ensuring compliance with offshore safety procedures and lifting regulations.

This opportunity is ideal for experienced offshore crane operators with strong North Sea experience and extensive knowledge of active heave-compensated crane operations.

Job Responsibilities
Operate offshore cranes safely and efficiently
Conduct cargo handling and lifting operations
Support deck operations and vessel activities
Perform inspections of crane equipment and lifting gear
Execute lifting plans in accordance with project requirements
Assist with mooring and deck maintenance duties
Maintain crane operation records and logbooks
Participate in safety meetings, drills, and toolbox talks
Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and offshore regulations

Requirements
Valid Able Seaman (AB) certification
Sparrows Stage 3 Crane Operator Certificate
Valid Crane Operator Logbook
UK Nationality or Legal Right to Work in the United Kingdom
Extensive experience operating knuckle boom cranes
Experience operating Active Heave Compensated (AHC) cranes
Proven experience operating cranes exceeding 50T SWL
Previous North Sea offshore experience
Valid STCW certification package
Valid offshore medical certificate
Good English communication skills
Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills
