Able Seamen for Self-Propelled Barge

Job Description:

PT Setya Dharma Maritim Manajemen is urgently recruiting 7 Able Seamen (AB) for a Self-Propelled Barge (SPB) delivery project from China to Guinea.

The position is specifically for a project delivery vessel. Candidates with previous experience on SPB or cargo vessels are required, while previous experience in Africa will be given priority. The successful candidate must be ready for the scheduled joining date and have all required documents valid until 2028.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Carrying out general deck operations and maintenance.
• Assisting with mooring, anchoring and cargo operations.
• Maintaining deck equipment and working areas.
• Following onboard safety and security procedures.
• Supporting the deck officers during the vessel delivery voyage.

Requirements:

• Indonesian nationality.
• Valid AB Certificate and seafarer documents.
• All documents must be valid until 2028.
• Previous experience on SPB or cargo vessels.
• Previous Africa experience is an advantage and will be given priority.
• Maximum age: 50 years old.
• Good English communication skills.
• Ready to join on 15 September 2026.
