Job Description:
Atlas NextWave are recruiting an Able Seaman/HDA to join our client's Seismic Vessel in UK waters, starting on 18th May for a 6-week duration.
Due to the location of the vessel within 12 nautical miles, candidates need to be either UK citizens or hold a UK Frontier Permit.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy and position, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
· Deck watchkeeping and mooring operations
· Assistance with seismic vessel operations and deck activities
· Helicopter Deck Assistant (HDA) duties as required
· Routine maintenance, painting, and cleaning of deck areas and equipment
· Compliance with all safety management systems, HSEQ requirements, and permit-to-work procedures
· Support of crane operations, rigging, and cargo handling as required

Requirements:
Mandatory Certificates:
· STCW Basic Safety Training – mandatory
· STCW Security Awareness training for Seafarers with Designated Security Duties – mandatory
· HUET – mandatory
· STCW Seafarer Medical – mandatory
· STCW Able Seaman Certificate of Competence II/5 – mandatory
· Helicopter Operation Initial Training / HOIT – mandatory
· HERTM (Helideck Emergency Response Team Member) – mandatory
· Dangerous Goods by Air certificate – mandatory
· Right to Work in the UK Documentation – mandatory
Additional Requirements:
· UK citizen or UK Frontier Permit holder – mandatory (due to vessel location within 12 nautical miles)
· Valid Seaman's Book and Passport
· Proficiency in English communication (verbal and written)
· Availability: Must be available to start on 18th May 2026 for 6 weeks
