Job Description:
An urgent opening is available for an experienced Able Seaman (AB) to join a Tug Boat. The successful candidate will assist with deck operations, mooring, towing activities, maintenance, and other duties as assigned by the deck officers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with mooring, anchoring, and towing operations.
- Supporting routine deck maintenance and cleaning.
- Assisting with deck equipment and machinery as required.
- Participating in onboard safety drills and emergency procedures.
- Following instructions from the Master and deck officers.
- Maintaining safe working practices during all deck operations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Able Seaman on Tug Boats or similar vessels.
- Valid CDC (Continuous Discharge Certificate).
- Valid STCW courses/certificates.
- Valid medical fitness certificate.
- Proficiency in English communication.
- Good knowledge of deck safety procedures.
