Able Seaman for Research Vessel (Netherlands)

Job Description:

We are urgently looking for an experienced Able Seaman (AB) to join a Research Vessel in the Netherlands. The position is available for immediate mobilisation, with joining scheduled for 07 September 2026.

The successful candidate will support general deck operations and maintenance onboard the research vessel while ensuring all duties are performed in accordance with company safety procedures and maritime regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Carrying out general deck operations and maintenance.
• Assisting with mooring, anchoring, and other deck activities.
• Maintaining deck equipment and work areas.
• Supporting the deck officers during daily vessel operations.
• Following onboard safety procedures and participating in drills.

Requirements:

• Valid STCW certificates as per rank.
• Valid seafarer documents.
• Relevant experience as an Able Seaman.
• Availability for immediate mobilisation.
• Ability to join in the Netherlands on 07 September 2026.
