Job Description:
An urgent opportunity is available for an experienced Able Seaman (AB) to join a vessel operating in UK territorial waters. The assignment is expected to last approximately four weeks and requires candidates who are available to mobilize from 12–13 August. Applicants must hold a valid UK work permit and have previous experience on PSVs or similar offshore vessels.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Carry out mooring, anchoring, and cargo handling operations safely.
Perform routine deck maintenance, cleaning, painting, and preservation work.
Maintain deck equipment and safety gear in operational condition.
Assist deck officers during navigation and offshore operations.
Participate in emergency drills and comply with company HSE procedures.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Valid UK work permit
Previous experience on PSV or similar offshore vessels
Available from 12 August
Valid Passport and Seaman's Book
