Job Description:
OSM Shipping Phils., Inc. is looking for qualified and experienced Able Seaman (AB) to join offshore operations. Candidates with relevant offshore and DP vessel experience are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will assist with deck operations, maintenance, mooring, cargo handling, and other duties while maintaining high safety standards onboard.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist with mooring, anchoring, cargo handling, and other deck operations.
Perform routine deck maintenance, cleaning, painting, and preservation.
Assist with the safe handling and maintenance of deck equipment and tools.
Participate in safety drills and follow onboard safety procedures.
Support the Bosun and deck officers in daily vessel operations.
Requirements:
Previous experience as an Able Seaman (AB)
Relevant offshore vessel experience preferred
DP / offshore vessel experience is an advantage
Valid and complete onboard documents
Valid STCW certificates
Valid AB certification/COP
Valid medical fitness certificate
Valid seafarer's book and passport
Must meet the qualification requirements for the position
Good command of English
Ability to work effectively as part of a multinational crew
