Job Description
MRS Marine is currently seeking an experienced Able Seaman (AB) to join an Offshore Support Vessel (OSV). The successful candidate will assist with deck operations, cargo handling, mooring, maintenance, and offshore support activities while ensuring compliance with company procedures and offshore safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Carry out mooring, anchoring, and cargo handling operations.
Perform deck maintenance, painting, and preservation work.
Assist bridge officers during navigation and offshore operations.
Participate in emergency drills and safety procedures.
Maintain deck equipment and ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Valid BOSIET certificate
Valid H2S certificate
Previous experience as Able Seaman on offshore support vessels is preferred
Valid passport and seaman's book
