Job Description

Nimbus Marine Group is accepting applications from qualified Able Seafarers for an upcoming assignment onboard an Offshore Construction Vessel operating in Sabah, Malaysia.

The Able Seaman will assist with deck operations, vessel maintenance, mooring activities, and safe working practices onboard.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Carry out deck maintenance, cleaning, and painting.
• Assist with mooring, anchoring, and vessel berthing operations.
• Participate in deck operations and offshore activities as assigned.
• Maintain deck equipment and follow safe working procedures.
• Assist with emergency drills and other duties assigned by deck officers.

Requirements

• Valid Able Seafarer Deck qualification or applicable seafarer certification.
• Previous experience on offshore vessels is preferred.
• Valid STCW certificates relevant to the position.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Valid passport and seafarer’s documents.
• Good English communication skills.
• Availability for the November 2026 – January 2027 assignment.
• Sabahan crew candidates are sought for this opportunity.
