Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Able Seaman (AB) to join a Multipurpose Supply Vessel (MPSV) operating in the UK. The successful candidate will support the deck department with routine deck operations, maintenance, mooring activities, and general offshore vessel duties.
Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK and have solid previous experience working on offshore vessels. The position is scheduled to start on 16 August 2026 for a contract of approximately 6 weeks.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist with mooring, unmooring, anchoring, and other deck operations.
Carry out routine deck maintenance, cleaning, painting, and equipment inspections.
Assist with cargo handling and offshore supply operations.
Maintain deck machinery and equipment in safe working condition.
Follow vessel safety procedures and comply with offshore operational requirements.
Requirements:
Eligible to work in the United Kingdom
Solid previous experience working on offshore vessels – mandatory
Valid STCW certificates
Valid medical fitness certificate
Good command of English
Relevant AB certification and seafarer documentation
