Job Description

Candina Group is currently recruiting an Able Seaman (AB) for deployment onboard a Belgium-flagged Research Vessel.

The successful candidate will assist with navigation watchkeeping duties, mooring operations, deck maintenance, safety procedures, cargo handling activities, and support vessel operations during research projects.

Requirements

• Previous experience as Able Seaman (AB) required
• Valid STCW certification
• Valid AB certificate and endorsements
• Valid seafarer medical certificate
• Valid passport and seaman book
• Experience onboard research vessels or similar vessel types preferred
• Good English communication skills
• Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills
