Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Able Seaman / Crane Operator to join an OSV DP2 vessel operating in the North Sea.
The contract duration is 4 weeks, with a joining date on 2 January.
Due to vessel flag requirements, only EU nationals holding a valid UK Work Permit or Ukrainian nationals under UK holder of protection status will be considered.
The role requires strong deck experience combined with certified crane operation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Performing deck duties including mooring, unmooring, and cargo handling
• Operating vessel cranes safely during offshore and cargo operations
• Supporting subsea and offshore activities as required
• Conducting routine deck maintenance and inspections
• Ensuring full compliance with safety procedures and company regulations
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• First Class Seaman License
• Crane Operator’s Certificate (Sparrows Stage 3 / EnerMech Stage 3 / G5 / AIS Survivex)
• Minimum 18 months experience on similar OSV/DP vessels in the rank of AB / Crane Operator
• EU nationality with valid UK Work Permit or Ukrainian with UK holder of protection status
• Proficiency in English communication
