Job Description:
SSM Maritime Services Inc. is recruiting a qualified Able Seaman / Cook (AB/Cook) to join an Offshore Support Vessel. The successful candidate will assist with deck operations while also supporting meal preparation and galley duties, ensuring safe and efficient vessel operations.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist with mooring, anchoring, deck maintenance, and offshore operations.
Support cargo and equipment handling activities as required.
Prepare and serve meals for the vessel's crew.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the galley and food storage areas.
Participate in safety drills and comply with offshore and onboard safety procedures.
Requirements:
Previous experience as AB/Cook or in a similar combined role
Offshore Support Vessel experience preferred
Valid AB certification/COP
Valid Cook certification as applicable
Valid STCW certificates
Valid medical fitness certificate
Valid seafarer's documents and passport
Good command of English
Ability to work effectively as part of a multinational crew
