Job Description:
SWAR INDIA SHIPPING SERVICES PVT. LTD. is looking for an experienced Able Seaman (AB) to join a Research Vessel (GRT 1000).
Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably onboard vessels. Applicants should have practical knowledge of deck operations, deck machinery, and vessel maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Carrying out routine deck maintenance, cleaning, and painting.
• Assisting with mooring, anchoring, and cargo or equipment handling operations, as applicable.
• Operating and maintaining deck machinery under supervision.
• Participating in safety drills and emergency response operations.
• Supporting general vessel maintenance and onboard research activities.

• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Previous onboard vessel experience preferred.
• Knowledge of deck operations and deck machinery.
• Experience in vessel maintenance.
• Good knowledge of English communication.
