Job Description

Sheffield Energies is recruiting an experienced Able-Bodied Seaman (AB) / Helicopter Landing Officer (HLO) for a deepwater pipelay and heavy crane construction vessel.

Duties may include deck maintenance, mooring operations, cargo handling, assisting with offshore work and carrying out HLO duties where assigned and appropriately certified.

Requirements

• Previous AB experience on offshore, pipelay, heavy-lift or construction vessels preferred.
• Valid AB qualification and STCW certificates.
• Valid HLO certification and relevant experience, where the HLO function is required.
• Relevant offshore certificates.
• Valid travel documents and seaman’s book.
• Good understanding of deck safety, maintenance and emergency procedures.
• Good command of English.
• Available for mobilization in December 2026, subject to client approval.
• All nationalities are welcome to apply for rating positions.
