Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Able Seaman (AB) to join a DP2 Subsea Construction Offshore Vessel (SCOV) operating in the North Sea.
The contract duration is 8 weeks with a planned joining date on 10th May. The selected candidate will support deck operations, maintenance, and offshore activities onboard. Previous experience on similar vessel types is required, along with all mandatory certifications, including First or Second Class Seaman License and HUET with CA-EBS.
Only EU nationals holding a valid UK work permit or Ukrainian candidates under UK protection status will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assisting with deck operations, mooring, and cargo handling
• Performing maintenance tasks such as painting, cleaning, and equipment upkeep
• Standing watch and ensuring safe navigation support
• Operating deck machinery and equipment as required
• Complying with safety procedures and company regulations
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• First or Second Class Seaman License
• HUET with CA-EBS
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• EU Nationals with valid UK work permit or Ukrainian candidates under UK protection status
• Minimum 12 months experience as AB on similar types of vessels
