AB for Workboat (UK)

Job Description:
GreenTec Recruitment is seeking qualified Able Seamen (AB) for workboat operations in UK waters. Candidates must hold valid AB certification, valid STCW certificates, relevant workboat experience, and a valid UK Frontier Worker Permit (FWP). Joining is expected in October or November 2026.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Carrying out deck operations and routine seamanship duties.
• Assisting with mooring, unmooring, and vessel manoeuvring.
• Maintaining deck equipment and ensuring work areas remain safe.
• Participating in onboard safety drills and emergency response activities.
• Supporting the safe and efficient operation of the workboat.

Requirements:

• Valid Able Seaman (AB) certification.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Relevant workboat experience.
• Valid UK Frontier Worker Permit (FWP).
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
