Job Description:
A reputable maritime company is seeking an experienced Able Seaman (AB) to join a Water Injection Dredger operating in the United Kingdom. This is a short-term assignment under a Polish contract, offering an opportunity to work on dredging operations in a professional offshore environment.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Carry out deck operations and assist with dredging activities.
- Perform routine maintenance of deck equipment and mooring gear.
- Assist with navigation watchkeeping and cargo/deck operations as assigned.
- Follow company safety procedures and participate in emergency drills.
- Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness of the deck.
Requirements:
- Full and valid STCW certification package
- Valid Medical Fitness Certificate
- Proficiency in English communication
- UK Work Permit (mandatory)
- Previous experience as Able Seaman (AB) is preferred
- Valid Passport and Seaman's Book
