Job Description:
Curtin Maritime, Corp. is recruiting qualified Able Seafarers (AB) to join its fleet of electric ship-assist tugboats operating in the Ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles. Candidates must hold the required U.S. maritime credentials and medical certification to support safe tugboat and port operations.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assisting with tugboat manoeuvring and ship-assist operations.
• Performing deck duties, including mooring, unmooring, and line handling.
• Supporting the maintenance and upkeep of deck equipment.
• Ensuring compliance with onboard safety procedures.
• Assisting the vessel's crew during routine operations and emergencies.

Requirements:

• Valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
• Valid Merchant Mariner Credential (MMC) with Able Seafarer – Special endorsement.
• Valid U.S. Coast Guard medical certification with no night restrictions.
• Relevant Able Seafarer or tugboat experience preferred.
