Job Description:
An urgent vacancy is available for an experienced Able Seaman (AB) to join a 3,500 GT Supply Vessel operating in Indian waters.
The successful candidate must have previous experience in Indian Waters (IND WK) and hold a valid Certificate of Proficiency (COP). A valid U.S. Visa is mandatory for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Perform general deck duties and assist with daily vessel operations.
Assist with mooring, anchoring, berthing, and unberthing operations.
Carry out routine deck maintenance, cleaning, and preservation.
Assist with cargo and supply handling operations as required.
Follow all onboard safety, environmental, and operational procedures.
Requirements:
Previous experience as an Able Seaman (AB).
Indian Waters (IND WK) experience – mandatory.
Valid COP (Certificate of Proficiency) – mandatory.
Valid U.S. Visa – mandatory.
Valid STCW certificates.
Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
Valid Seaman's Book and Passport.
Good English communication skills.
Good physical fitness and safety awareness.
